Fruit and Cheese French Toast
3 Medium apples - peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
4 oz Lyons Cinnamon Designer Dessert Sauce
4 T Butter
14-16 Slices French Bread (1/2” slices)
8 oz Brie Cheese - rind removed, and thinly sliced
2 T Butter - melted
3 T Sugar
1 t Cinnamon
20 oz Milk
3 Large eggs
1 T Vanilla

In a large skillet cook apples in 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat for 4-5 minutes or until apples are tender. Stir in 1/2 cup of Lyons Designer Dessert Sauce until apples are well glazed. Arrange 7 or 8 bread slices in a single layer in prepared dish. Spoon apple mixture and layer sliced brie on top. Top each stack with another bread slice. Brush bread with melted butter. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over bread. In a medium bowl whisk together milk, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Slowly pour over French Toast and let sit for 10 minutes to absorb.
Heat griddle to medium high and coat with butter. Cook French Toast pieces for 5 minutes on each side, be careful not to burn. Do not cook too fast to ensure the middle gets hot. If the inside is not hot enough, finish in a 350° oven for 8 minutes.
Serve warm with Lyons Maple Syrup,

Lyons Cinnamon Sauce.
